Hi, the spoken address icons are greyed out on my tomtom 930 and there dont seem to be any settings to make them visible ..any advice welcome..thanks for any help _________________ Apple iphone 3G

The same question has been asked here several times recently so you could search this forum for more information.
Common causes are a corrupt mapsettings.cfg (in the map folder) file or having restored this file from an older version of the map to keep settings but the file is incompatible. Not having the correct voices installed and selected can also cause this problem.
Sometimes a reset using the button on the bottom will work.
Others require rebuilding the mapsettings.cfg file which happens automatically when it is deleted or the restore factory settings options is used. It is a good idea to back up this file as it contains your settings and favourites, so if the problem turned out to be elsewhere you could restore it. _________________ Drivelux |

I thought you had to select a computer voice to use this feature not a normal one ie kate uk computer voice not katie uk |
