Hi All

I used to make mounts for bikes and cars, including a 17mm ball which fits the rear of the Nuvi and i-series mounts. I stopped making them in 2006 but I've had quite a few enquiries lately and was wondering what the demand for these was?

The product I'm looking to supply is a black plastic ball with a 6mm (M6) thread, which is a snug fit in the back of the sat nav. You can then make up your own car or bike mount from this ball size.

PM me or respond to the post if interested - the price will be £4 per ball or 2 for £7. If enough people are interested I'll start up production again!

Andy

Welcome back Andy, I am sure the "Mr_Gonzales balls" will be well received, with the cheap prices you can pick up some of the early Nuvi devices for (well below £100) it should open a new market for bike mounts etc - Mike

I'm currently shopping around - was a lot easier before when I had my own machine shop to make whatever mounts I liked. Should have the old website back up, lots of balls in stock and ebay ads running not too far into 2009 if all goes to plan.

Is this going to happen or has the idea died a death already?

Actually, no, I am looking for the 17mm ball with a 6mm hole tapped in it, the only thing I find on ebay is complete molded units, which is not what I require. The items that Mr. G had for sale were perfect, I managed to get one from a fellow poster on here, but I need one more.
