When I travel in Europe the ETA shows arrival time as UK time. Is it possible to set local time according to which time zone you are in and therefore to get correct arrival time? Changing time zone only seems to change clock.
I have scoured the manual and forums for this but can't find how to do this.
Is it possible without resetting the whole device? _________________ Nick Russell

check if you have gmaptz.img file in your garmin. if contains info about time zones so possibly it might help adjusting the clock, but i'm not sure.
is the time showed right and you only have issue with ETA or both are shown as UK time?
EDIT: just found it on the internet:

Sometimes the Nuvi does not detect your timezone when you skip zones (for example if you are flying) or you leave it off for extended periods of time when Traveling.
If you do need to select another time zone, to to the Travel Kit, Select World Clock, Select (or press on the clock), Select the city currently residing in the Time Zone window, Scroll up or down and select the city that is in the time zone you wish to select, press OK, Select Back, Select Back, Select Back, verify that the time (Hour) is correct.

When I change the time in settings, the time is correct but ETA still shows UK time. _________________ Nick Russell

Update: I have been in the Netherlands for a few days and changed time zone yesterday. Time and ETA was OK - both showed local time and not UK time. When I did this before I changed time zone as soon as I arrived in Europre and clock was OK but ETA remained on UK time.
Can't explain why it now works - is it possible that system has to register for a period in new time zone to pick up correct ETA? _________________ Nick Russell
