change background picture in iGo8

Hey guys, first post, so here goes..

iv jst installed iGO 8 on my htc touch HD (the samsung omnia version), and want to change the background picture in the menu. any ideas how i can add/replace the ones already there as they look rather ugly on a wvga screen.

Hi, and welcome to the PGPSW forums.

There are several different skins about on the web for igo 8 that change the loading screen and other backgounds etc., and give some information on how to change them. Just Google for 'Igo 8 skins'. Some of the hit addresses wil be legitimate and legal, and others might just be breaking someone's copyright with the associated dubious legality discussion of which this forum's rules rightly prohibit.

It seems that Igo can put the loading screen in a number of different locations on the device, so there is apparently not one simple answer to your question.
