I has topo GB in my unit, and have just bought North America City Navigator on micro SD.
I swapped the cards in the unit, thinking with the satellite reception switched off i would be able to view the map. I was not able, just got a question mark on the map screen even though the map set up showed that the maps were available on the card.
i have put GB topo back in and that will not work either.

can anyone please assist ?

thanks

You should be able to browse the map simply by moving around it. At least you can on the Colorado and Oregon. The icon with the ?mark just tells you that you don't have a fix.

I haven't used your particular model but I would be suprised if you couldn't get it to browse the map by using the little rocker style button below the screen. You may find it easier to set the scale high (i.e. more of the map displayed) then move the pointer to the rough area you want to see, then zoom in again.

I sometimes get this when changing cards. Try taking the card out and reseating it in the card holder and make sure that the sliding clip is fully closed.

Also make sure that the the map is set to "Hide" in the map setup. Get the map page up and press Menu and you should get a list of the maps available on the card. The maps that say "Hide xxxxx" are the ones that should be showing on the unit.
