Making POI's

What do the numbers in the speed cameras mean such as: Mobile:7998@30. Is the number 7998 a made up number? or does it have to be that one. I need to make a new POI to replace an incorrectly placed one as I couldn't (or my TomTom One XL wouldn't let me). I have the correct Lat & Lont of it I just need to give it a number I suppose.

A better option would be to submit a correction via the Camera Submission page.

7998 is the reference number for that camera on the PGPSW database.

If you think one of these cameras is inaccurate, then send the changes in via the Submit Camera page. Your new details will then get sent for verification and, if accepted, added to the database for subsequent download.

You need the Camera ID if changing an existing camera, but if adding a new one, the database will automatically create its own number.
