Their .com website is working fine, seems the .co.uk site is the one with an issue. _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |

It's been up and down for over a week now, currently down again.

US site is useless for queries / purchasing of OS product etc.
Perhaps it's just the UK operation that's gone bust? |

I'm happy to confirm that Memory-Map UK are still with us, they have an issue with their host that is affecting the .co.uk site and forums which is being looked at.
Their email is still working though so if you need to ask a question use that or you could always pick up the phone _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |

The site is now (sort of) back up and running. A bit reduced at the moment with no user forum available. |

It is hard to believe they can take so long to get the site back up and running properly.
I hope they don't pay the provider of their web site much money, as they seem a bit incompetent to me, which doesn't reflect well on Memory Map themselves, I hope they realise... |

Particularly when a firm's trying to sell software, if their own website doesn't work properly it doesn't look good.
If I'd not already bought MM (and been pretty satisfied with it - and the customer support) and saw that website, I'd most likely move onto Anquet or Fugawi. |

pennyandchris,
Back before the Memory Map forum bit the dust you posted some images of the new RA7000 Navigation Software from Road Angel.
If you still have them could you repost here please ?
I want to purchase a copy myself and am having trouble convincing Road Angel that this software actually exists
Cheers

Neil,
I can't find the screenshots, but the software looks like that shown for the RA9000 on their website, rather than something drawn by a five year old with a crayon.
It's Tele Atlas based, and on an SD card, and the order, which I do have a copy of, from late March, was for the following:
Product : Nav 7000 Oct 2007 Mapping
Quantity : 1
Price inc VAT : £49.99
Hope this is enough info.

Cheers Chris
I've found it listed in the RA online shop under accessories for the Navigator 6000, strangely not listed in the Navigator 7000 section though.
All the best

I've had a reply from RoadAngel:
"Its on our admin special promotion site, you will need to call 01327
855586 to purchase a card"
Why this isn't for general sale I don't know
