Hi all,
A couple of questions on my Memory Map OS 2004 running on my Ipaq 5550 now thanks to Darren
1. Should the map scroll as it dose with TomTom?? if so, mine isn't.
2. The red arrow that points from your current position, Can someone give me some info on this, I take it that its where you will be in a certain amount of time based on your current speed...is this correct and is this adjustable?? if so where.
Thanks in advance |

Yes, at least it does if you click the 'padlock' icon to enable the scroll function

The vector indicator shows direction and the tip of the arrow indicates where you will be in a user defineable period at your current speed. I hadn't realised this could be customised on the PocketPC client until I read this thread which explains how. _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |

We did have a thread somewhere describing avatar sizes but I can't find it at the moment. Basically avatars have to be no more than 64x64 pixels in size and no more than 6k to avoid un-necessary slow downs on loading each forum page. |

Odd indeed, I see which is 125x71.
If I insert an IMG link to your avtar I also get .
We don't prevent linking to avtar's hosted elsewhere but you may be better uploading that avtar to our server which is permitted in the Profile section. _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |

Can you send me the image via email and I'll try uploading it under a different account to see if I have a problem. |
