StreetPilot I

I have a VERY OLD StreetPilot I.

The orginal software and mapsets that came with the product were sold under the MetroGuide nameplate.

I know this unit has been discontinued and I believe the last maps released by Garmin for this product was in 2003, but does anyone know if there is a way to find custom maps that I could install myself that are uptodate? Is there anyway to adapt mapsets to work with the GPS?

I see sites where custom maps are shared, but not specifically for a GPS as old as mine. (NOTE: I also own a StreetPilot III and StreetPilot 2610)

I used to use the StreetPilot I with my motorcycle. To be honest, the monochrome display worked great in the sun. I have a RAM mount on my motorcycle, and use my StreetPilot III usually, but in bad weather, I would like to use the OLD StreetPilot I. If anything ever happened to it, i wouldnt care because it is so old.

I would need instructions on how to install the mapsets if that is possible, plus websites where mapsets exist.

Any Ideas?
