Anyone try MobiumGPS?? http://www.mobiumgps.com/ Anyone with a Windows Mobile phone, and with a data connection, this ought to be an excellent, very reasonable choice! We could just pay the one month on our trips out of town. And since the POIs are updated constantly, there's no concern of outdated POIs......

I totally dig it.
ALL they need is a multiple stop trip maker and I am all over it.
LOVE the Gas price feature
Simple and full on correct |

I have tried Mobium GPS on a trial version and have just bought a one month subscription. On both occasions so far, it starts with voice guidance, and after two turns, quits the guidance. Also, even if I check the box asking for the backlight to stay on, it goes off in 3 minutes as per my usual setting. Lastly, it chooses the zoom level while in navigation mode, which isn't appropriate. We ought to be able to zoom in more while in a downtown area. Maps are sharp and clear, and as someone said, the gas pricing seems accurate, well, today anyhow.
Overall, while driving, the program stopping to give voice guidance is a bad thing. I might as well use Windows Live Search! Also, in the restaurant list, 4 restaurants I called had the phone # disconnected, or the restaurants did not exist. I wonder how old the list is. The program ought to be more finger friendly and not require the use of a stylus, which it very much does. Good potential, but they need to really work on this thing. After this month I doubt I'll continue. |

sounds like a case of the memory worms to me. Try this - do a soft reset before using Mobium. Your problems may magically disappear.
What build are you running? _________________ Lutz
