Hi All,
Just a real quicky,
Sorry if i have missed something, but is there a link in my account which i can view all my submitted speed cameras?
It would be especially handy to see the ones which are in pending verification status?
Many Thanks

Yes. If you look at the map on the Camera Submission page you'll see it states above the map....
Quote: | The submission map below now shows active sites, pending mobile sites and your own submissions that have been provisionally included (i.e. not every submission) but awaiting verification - they will not show up straight away but will be shown as coloured squares to differentiate them from active cameras. |
However i believe it'll only show your submission if you were first. |

yes, in general it will show your submissions if they are the first. occasionally though, due to how the system works, it could show even though not the first.
it's difficult to explain without going into massive (and dull) detail regarding the database admin backend!!
every submission generates an automatic email so you could always create a folder in your email client and store them all in there?

Hi MaFt,
Only 4, thought I did 6 :o)
Were the other 2 discarded as I was not the first?
I also did some M42 ones, but i think or suspect they are dummies as been around for a long time, but its been a while since ive been up that way.
My fingers are crossed because...
1, be nice to be first to get some UK ones in all this time at last.
2, be nice to be a lifetime free member on this site.
Cheers!

Hi MaFt,
Ive got about 19 years or so left from them ones, and believe me i am very grateful and glad to submit the unsubmitted!
But i dont really know what is deemed as a `life` membership with PGPSW? Is it 20 years or until death us do part?
I only thought you got 20 years for a European camera, and a full life membership for a UK one?
Cheers!

No MaFt has only got ten fingers and ten toes, only joking MaFt, 20 yrs is life, my understanding is that the databse can only count up to twenty. |

But your free membership will be extended for another 20 years when the original 20 years are up! _________________ Anita

Thanks thats excellent news! I didnt know that was how it works, and its good to know i am a lifelong member of the best site around.
I feel like my lifes just been extended by another 20 years!
It wont stop me from keeping my eyes open for more unreported cameras of course.
Regards

the database runs in milliseconds so 20 years is actually a very high number to play about with!!

Following on can anyone tell me how I became a lifetime member? Don't get me wrong I am eternally grateful and will continue to report any camera errors I spot - I submitted a few cameras in my local area some months/years ago but I am not sure which one hit the jackpot! I must add the speed camera database is so up-to-date it's increasingly difficult to verify new ones! which is what the database is all about really
Just out of curiosity, is it possible to know how many lifetime members have been rewarded on this site? |
