Having installed the speed camera pois on my new Garmin 200W, I'm keen to test them. Have been trying to view details of camera sites on the Google maps on the page at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras but the maps (not the camera overlays) aren't loading in most cases. (Satellite view is better in this respect, but less helpful, obviously.)

Any thoughts, anyone? Google is overloaded maybe?

Welcome to PGPSW.

The maps are working fine for me - which browser are you using?

Welcome.

And do you use a firewall such as Zone Alarm. These have been known to stop things working. But in my experience ZA stops the display of cameras (not the map), unless you enable 'private headers' in ZA for PGPSW.

I'm using Firefox 3.0b5 on OS X Tiger.

I'm using the OS X firewall. But - Very Happy - now the maps are working! So was a little Google hitch I guess!

Thanks for the reply and welcome, guys! Very Happy
