Hi,

Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the light sensor on the TT 720. The reason I ask is that it switches to night colours during daylight.

Thanks

Does it have a light sensor or does it do like most other units and work out when dawn / dusk is according to the date / time / position and switch from one mode to the other then?

Edit: typical. Look for answer and then only find it once i've posted the above! "Automatic brightness control plus day and night views."

I don't think you can adjust it but I also find it poor as the brightness of the display changes in levels (rather than smoothly) and these changes of display brightness I find are a distraction while driving.

I noticed this too, sent some feedback to TT telling them that the sensitivity can't be adjusted and over here it’s overcast more often than not etc etc so I have switched off this feature (another one that I can't use) and they sent a reply giving me detailed instructions on how to turn it back on with a note saying it can’t be adjusted! My three units spread across the base of the windscreen pick up different light levels and often one will be into night mode when the others are still in day mode. It's usually the one which is on the right, closest into the van and partly shielded by the screen frame. But all three will go to less bright for night (I don't use switch to night view when dark) quite frequently - despite rear door windows, the interior of the van is darker than a car. The light sensor is one of the holes on the top front in the strip of chrome. The other hole is the microphone.
