Belt clip with Vista HCx

Does anyone know if the eTrex belt clip is compatible with the Vista HCx?

The handlebar mount comes supplied with a replacement battery cover, but this is designed for the longer thinner eTrexes (like the basic eTrex), not the shorter fatter Vista. So the Vista itself is supplied with an adapter which allows you to clip it to the handlebar mount - you don't use the alternative battery cover.

The belt clip also comes with a replacement battery cover, and looking at the pictures I can't see that the Vista's adapter would work with the belt clip, but I could be wrong.

Anyone know?
