I'm trying out some custom bmps for my custom POIs on my Zumo. I've set the background to magenta as I thought this would make the background transparent. However, it doesn't, it just shows the icon with a magenta background.
OTOH if I use the same bmp as a custon icon in Mapsource then it does have a transparent background.

For a transparent background, set the background as the 255,0,255 color.
For transparency save in 256 color. 16 or 32bit work as well, 24 doesn't. 256 would be best. save as bmp or try jpg. _________________ Aprilia Tuono, Zumo 550
