|
|
I just bought a Navigan 5100.
I see all these free POI's and I'd like to put them on my device.
Once I download the POI's from the download section, and use POIedit as per your instructions, what do I do next?
I see whats on my SD card.
Do I just copy and paste them to a certain area on the sd card?
Thanks, if you can point me in the right direction.
Thanks so much |

I don't know the Navigon system myself, but have seen it mentioned in other parts of the forum.
Navigon does not directly support 3rd party POIs and so to use a 3rd party database you need the "POI Warner" plug-in.
As the PGPSWorld speed camera database are just POI files, you might find the best help of how to use it in the "PocketGPSWorld Speed Camera Database" part of the forum.
HERE'S one post that might get you started. |

I'm a real newbie on GPS stuff.
I don't know. Is there somewhere to look on the sd card that would tell me? |

Do you have a user manual?
Look for "custom POIs" or "user POIs" or "3rd party POIs" in the instructions or features list. |
