|

Many of you will have read the story of Emma Clarke in the papers recently. Emma was the official announcer for London Underground and few people won't at some point or another heard her voice announcing 'Mind The Gap'.
She was quoted as having said "travelling in a Tube train would be dreadful for me, listening to my own voice and seeing the haunted faces of commuters being subjected to me telling them to 'mind the gap'". Nothing wrong in that surely but London Underground didn't agree. They sacked here because she had criticised the Underground system! Crikey LU, time to get a sense of proportion I think!
However their loss is our gain as ALK, authors of CoPilot have now employed her to produce a voice for CoPilot 7. The voice will soon be available to CoPilot Live 7 users who can add Emma's instructions using the CoPilot Central software. In the meantime you can hear some samples by visiting this page. _________________ Darren Griffin

The spoof " When exactly did you pass the test" would be great instead of "recalculating" on my Garmin

I expect mine to come out with "You're not listening to me, ARE YOU!" sometimes. _________________ Gone fishing! |
