Road routes with Memory Map?

I was using Autoroute 2002 but was impressed with the reviews on Memory-Map so I bought it. However, it appears that it is not possible to build a road route with Memory-Map in the same way one does it with Autoroute which is by inputting a series of grid points and then clicking on, "get directions".
or am I wrong?

You are right. Memory Map is a topographical application, not a street routing software.
