Anyone tried this new GPS receiver.
Loads on Ebay...Just wondering if they work with HP Ipaq H5500 PDA.

Many thanks.

I have just bought one off ebay and I have to say I am very impressed!
I bought it as a replacement for my GlobalSat BC-307 compact flash receiver and I can say it is so much better.
The speed at which it gets a fix is impressive. It picked up a signal in the house in seconds while I was just testing it after opening the box.

The product brief of a rebranded copy can be found here http://www.wondeproud.com/Products/file_68_1.pdf
I know that there Holox can be easily mixed up with Holux but all I can say is that I'm happy with it.
having said that, I havn't tried any other latest generation products, but looking at the total price including P&P, i think its a very good bargain.

PS: I had no issues at all with my Ipaq 2210 and tomtom 6

I have had a Holox BT-441 for about a month now.
Its performance is pretty awesome in terms of first fix, reaquisition and finding fixes inside heavily shielded buildings.
My GPS info regularly reports 9+ sats!
I have however had a few problems with charging it but I suspect that is due to my attempting to use the chargers supplied with my Holux GPSlim 236 which also has a mini usb port.
My in-car charger blew completely!
Anyone any clues on this?
Anyway, as it takes the standard nokia 3.7v battery (like the 236), and lasts for about 10 hrs on a charge that hasn't been a problem.
I am very pleased with mine at the price I paid (about £33 inc p&p ex ebay)
