TomTom on AXIM X51V

Any help appreciated.
I have been using an Axim X5 with TTN5 plus wired GPS. I also have a CF GPS receiver, but have never got it to work.
Now I have updated my PDA to a X51V.
I'm waiting for a new wired receiver to arrive, so tried using the CF receiver.
Problems;
1) The X51V will not pickup a signal with TomTomN5, GPSinfo or GPS (pre installed on the X51V)
Are there issues with using a CF GPS receiver on Axim's in general?
2) I cannot get TTN5 to pickup the western europe map, recently purchased when I was still using the X5, The X51V install seems to complete OK but then TTN5 will not see the new map in Change Preferences, Switch Map: it just sees my old Great Britain & Iberia maps.
3) Lastly, NOT TomTom related, I have Password Keeper, but this X51V will not see the data file that holds my passwords, anybody else using this excellent program and able to advise on a cure for me.

There have been a large number of posts about the CF GPS when installed to an x51, the only time I have found it to work involved updating the x51 with the latest firmware.
Try a search on the site for x51 and you will have a few pages to go at - Mike
