Navigator 5 And Non TomTom Sirf Gps Receiver

Hi,

Does anyone know if its at all possible to connect a non TomTom Sirf Gps Receiver to Navigator 5? (Actual version 5.21)

The gps receiver is a Scope 914 telematics unit that we use for gps and non gps data transmission.

Any help greatly appreciated!

So long as the output from the GPS is in NMEA format and you have the correct electrical connections it will work.
Select 'Other Wired GPS Device' (this might be named other cabled NMEA device I cannot remember the TTN 5,21 exact set-up screens), then set the Baud rate, check the data sheet but 4800 is a good start point if unsure, finally select the com port the GPS is connected to (What PDA are you using?) - Mike
