Hi,
I have Nav-Cam 7700 which run's winCE 5. I installed TomTom 6 and IGO 2006 on it. TomTom works fine. IGO can't find GPS for some reason. Everything else works fine. Any suggestion ? As far as i understand winCE is some striped version, so it does not have all the dll's WM5 will have, but applications starts fine.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Make sure you have exited from TT before starting iGO. You can't share the BT GPS this way.
Try a manual set up of the GPS for iGO. Tap GPS icon (bottom left) and I think (from memory) it's the middle of the three buttons on RHS of GPS screen.
Set it up for the COM port assigned to your GPS - it will be the same one you used for setting up TomTom. Leave the system to detect the bit rate automatically. Take you, your PDA and your GPS outside and ensure the GPS is getting a signal. Try to connect then - keep watching the GPS status screen to see if it's getting any sats (sig level / circular plot) When they go blue - Bingo. _________________ Phil |

hi all,
I have the same problem.
My device runs windows 5.0 and tomtom v6.03 runs very well.
now i try to run iGO my way or Miomaps on this unit, but iGO/Miomaps can't discover the GPS device which i use the same port as TomTom used.
can anyone make a step by step instructions on how to setup the iGO my way or MioMaps as following instruction?

thank you very much. |

As I understand it, MioMap is only supplied with Mitac Mio units and is not available separately, so it is very likely locked to Mio hardware. I guess you have an unlicensed copy? |
