|
|
Hi
I have CP 4 EU on my HP2210 and I have downloaded the Camera data base and when I try to follow the intructions "Now tap TOOLS | LIVE | POIs and make sure you tick the ENABLED option, set the MILES AHEAD to 3" etc, I find that the tools live menu option is greyed out on my Ipaq and non functioning.
It was also greyed our before downloading the data base but I was not particularly bothered about it before.
I guess I'm missing something, how do I get into this option?
I use CP4 in Europe driving between Netherland/Belgium and Germany and the ability to create your own map areas is a great function.
Regards Mark |

strange. There should be no reason for this to be greyed out. When you tap Tools...About - what version is reported? _________________ Lutz

I noticed as well that a reinstall doesn't seem to do anything. I'll clean my installation out and do a complete new install with version 4.5.2.9 - maybe you want to try the same? 4.04.107 doesn't sound like an official version to me... _________________ Lutz

I have this version also. In what way do you mean 'Not Official'
Should I be looking for an upgrade? |

Correct me if I am wrong but this appears not to apply to the EU version. which I am using in the UK. |

Good question. The UK site has 4.0.4.104 listed as the latest version. Maybe the ALK support can help. Dan? _________________ Lutz

Hi Lutz - 4.0.4.107 indeed is an official version. Mark's problem, rather, relates to his product key code.
Mark - I would like our support team to investigate your key code so that this can be quickly resolved. Please either send me a private message with your contact details or email your key code and contact details to uksupport@alk.com with a quick note that the tools/live menu is grayed out. We should be able to immediately resolve. Thank you for your patience.
Kind Regards,
Dan Popkin
