The only place I've seen the Mapopolis Navigator card was on eBay. The auction was for a 'Navcard,' but then the description said you get a 1-year time imit to download files. No help at on the Mapopolis web site.
If one wants to get the entire U.S. on a NavCard, is it practical to download it? Where would one buy or sign up for that service? What Size SD card would you need?

Download is the most economical way. You need a 2 GB card, and it will be filled around half. But Mapopolis isn't about loading all the maps, it's about loading the maps you really need.
So - buy it from Mapopolis directly, and download.

I recently tried to buy a navigator may for my area, and couldn't! You can only buy the platinum maps, which for me, are all but useless. |

The idea is to try out the one map to see if it's really what you want to do, and go the rest of the way. |
