Origin B2 Updates.

Hi All,
I have just bought the Origin B2 after reading the review by Darren.
I had almost made my mind up before, but was convinced by his very
professional report to go out and order it.
It arrived the following day exellent service.
I have not fitted it as yet due to the terrible weather conditions.
I have just one question at the moment, it's with regards to the free
6 months upgades.
Does it start when i connect and power up, or only when i register or
connect to the central server via internet.
