Is there a way to automatically connect the BT GPS to the PDA when you launch I-go? Currently I have to go to the BT manager and connect it manually. |

If you really want to do that (I can't fathom why) you can use third party programs that first enable BT and then start a specified application. _________________ Lutz

Why? Easy.. It saves when having to connect the GPS every time I get into the car and drive off.. Its would be faster to only press the I-go icon, and off we go - similar to Tomtom navigator.
If I want to use it now I need to press:
"wireless connection" button on front screen
"Bluebooth Manager"
find the GPS and double click
then close the 2 windows I have opened
and THEN I can start i-go
If you know of an easier way then please let me know. |

If you pair your BT GPS to your PDA. Tap and hold the icon of the BT GPS and select 'connect' (you only need to do this the first time). Start i-go get a connection to the gps with the correct port & baud rate. Then every time you start I-go (whether BT on PDA is on or off it will switch on) & if GPS is on or in stand by, as newer ones have, it connects in a few seconds. The works with both Tom Tom & I-GO. |
