After having my TTR for a couple of weeks and also contemplating getting an Autocom system, I found myself being a bit put off still having the TTR bluetooth headset, BUT soon(hopefully) this will change.

I spoke to a nice lady at Autocom yesterday, and I was asking about why there wasn't any discounts at the NEC bike show. She then explained that last year when they were changing their product line that they had given 50% off the old stock(dam, I wished I'd known), PLUS the fact they are now working on a Bluetooth unit for the TTR which they HOPE to release for next years Ally Pally Show, which isn't at the Ally Pally, but you know the one I mean.

This is going to be a boost for both Autocam and the TTR, which is a good thing.

Thanks for the info, good to know. As a new user to the Rider, how would you rate your overall experience with this device? I've heard good things about the easy to use features and the navigation system.

So far I have found the TTR very good, a lot better than I thought it was going to be, even if others do complain about the smallest of things.
All the menus are straight foward and do exactly what it says on the tin.Any additions(e.g camera POI's and voices) are reasonably easy to install. One thing that I like(which is probably on all sat nav devices) is the way it can change route for you when you have made a mistake and it does it very quickly.
