I am running the Quest 2 Confused via Autocom pro 7 sport and when plugged it it works fine, can hear the voice directions etc, however when I switch on my music I cannot hear the sat nav at all. I thought the autocom unit would auto mute the music for me to hear the sat nav??????

No, it only reduces the volume for the 2 way radio link (and maybe the phone too).

I've been lurking fo rsome time to find answers but signed up to post a reply to your question.

I may be stating the obvious but if your other than music source device is connected to the "Aux" input, music volume goes down and comes back gradually (not only for the radio transmission). If you split the input for music then Autocom doesn't know if there is a "priority" signal such as radar detector's warning or radio transmission. If not, most likely your Autocom unit is faulty.
