Converting TomTom POI's

Can anyone tell me what file format I need to convert some custom TomTom POI files to be used with Navigon 5 & where should they be installed

I am under the impression that the only way to add custom POi's to Navigon is through third party software. I use Navgon 5.1 and have paid for POI Warner (about £20) from http://www.navigating.de/Home_en/index.htm
This requires asc files which can be converted from anything by POIedit or similar.

I am also led to believe that a free program called POI Observer is available through
http://www.poiobserver.com/
but even using a translation page (its in German) I found it diffficult to follow, and given I already have Warner, unneeded.

It may be worth doing a search for POI Observer on these forums as I am sure it was being discussed in a non Navigon forum.
