Thanks for the review which was really informative. But I am slightly confused as to what the point is now of this product. In its previous form is was the only TMC'ish product for the UK, now it is no longer. You can get this information in your car much cheaper via Trafficmaster, with the added bonus of not having to enter your route.
I would really be interested in learning who's brilliant idea it was to remove the bit of code that used to make this an interesting product. |

A version of LiveWire is currently being tested with CoPilot and TomTom Navigator 2 due for release soon. However in the interim it was easier to make the product available to all Pocket PC users in this fashion and does give better tailoring to roads when you can enter the roads you will be travelling and get very advanced warning of traffic problems on roads much further on in your journey which other such devices like Traffic Master can't possibly predict unless you can enter your journey or roads. |

Cheers Dave. Fair comments about the trafficmaster, though if you have GPRS and you have a PDA, why not browse to the ITIL website and get the TMC data for free....
Anyway, I think it is good news that they are working on integrating it in Copilot and Tom Tom. Considering how slow the UK support for TMC is that should be much appreciated. |
