|
I updated to 1.01 a couple of weeks ago and revisited the doadload site to be told that on th 10th of March we would be able to download 1.02. This is to correct the system locking with auto dim/brightness not returning to the nav screen. They now have taken this 1.02 message off and have returned to the 1.01. As this is a very new device and we are the guinea-pigs they should have said that they had a problem with the software and they are working on it. :x |

Updated to 1.02 today looks like they have sorted out the auto-dimmer problem. |

I updated today and so far I have got my cameras back. You never know they may alter the software to stop us using POI observer ( lets hope not ). |

Just bought a unit second hand without a CD. The firmware is version 1.0 and I would like to update it but am nervous without having the CD to fall back on. Any ideas where I can purchase the CD that normally ships with it. Thanks |

To save anyone dragging their weary carcasses to the Sony site in a state of high excitement, it fixes some issues with TMC management for anyone running it in Spanish.
Not exciting. |

I updated to 1.05 after my Sony went into meltdown last Friday coming out of London, so many TMC messages just crashed the poor thing. POI observer works OK and TMC seams a little more stable. |

That's useful, thanks. I'm still on 1.03 but there's less TMCery in the Fens I guess!
Have you discovered any way to get POI Observer to wibble if you are exceeding the maximum speed for a given camera? I can find the global setting (mine is set to 100mph) but nothing for individual cameras. |

Sorry Dippy m8 as I have a Combo van I have never been anywhere near 100 mph so it's never wibbled ( what ever that is ) and as for cameras I just get the std voices. |
