|
|
I am running TT5 on a Mio Mitac 168.If I select Navigate To,then select
Points of Interest, then select petrol stations,I get the message "No POI found"
However,if I browse browse the map,the petrol station icons show up.If I select a different POI,then I get a list in distance order.
The petrol station POI information that I have downloaded is contained within the map folder.
So what am I doing wrong ? |

The effect you describe is most of the time caused by using an illegal version of TTN. Is yours genuine? _________________ Lutz

That well may be the problem.Let me mitigate !
My PDA was bought from Aldi and came with Navigon already installed, but I and my wife just found it so difficult to work and read the small text.
A "friend" said that he could put Tomtom on it instead. We found that it was so much easier to read and use,and we definately do not want to go back to Navigon. |

When you purchase your TomTom maps, make sure you get the correct package.
e.g. TomTom Navigator 5 Software & Maps of Western Europe (including GB).
Don't just buy the maps, you need the software.
Don't forget to update to TTN5.21. Free download from the TomTom site.
For a smooth display make sure you have your POI's off. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
