Hi,
I've checked the forum rules and don't think I am contravening forum rules by posting the following request. If I am, please accept my apologies and remove the post.
Whilst I normally post as an individual user, I am posting this in my capacity as a services buyer for a leading UK Insurer.
We are seeing an increasing number of GPS products coming on cover with ourselves and I need to secure the services of a Nationwide service provider who can provide domestic users with a prompt repair service on a wide range of GPS based Manufacturer products.
I would be interested to learn of any Companys that can provide a Nationwide service (the size and mobility of the product lends itself to a courier back-to-base service) and if anyone has any suggestions and/or details, please drop me a line.
Apologies once again if this is not considered appropriate for this forum.
Thank you,
Carl. |

Thanks Lost_Property but I was more looking for a specialist repairer who can repair dedicated GPS units including Speed camera location products - Tom Tom, Garmin, Origin, Road Angel etc.
I already have repairers for laptops and PDA's (though I will take a look at Apex Laptops) but they don't want to touch the currently small volume of dedicated GPS units. I am talking to various mobile phone repairers, as most individual innovations eventually end up in the mobile phone (camera, mp3 etc.) and this may prove the best route.
I was just wondering if there are any repairers who specialise in this very niche market area.
Thanks,
Carl. |

For TomTom and Mio products you can probably try the company which does the warranty repairs for these two manufacturers. Please get in touch if you need more details. |

O2 have a XDA Repair Centre in Norwich as that was where mine went to have the screen replaced. _________________ Graham.
