I used to run the iNS (original version was bundled with a 3850 but Dixons allowed me a no cost upgrade to the 3950) and Co Pilot ver 1.2 with no problems. In fact recently as 3 days ago all was going well.
Have now received the CoPilot 4 Live. I followed the instructions and uninstalled the previous Pocket and Desktop versions. The installation of the Pocket and Desktop new version went perfectly. The activation was totally smooth and simple.
However, the Ipaq (rom 1.1) simply wont recognise the jacket, on insertion asks for a card driver. I have seen the need to use a legacy driver in a .cab file for other jackets in the readme file, but not for my combination of kit. Have posted a query with the technical support desk without a response. Got a bit worried when I discovered the tel. no. on the web site is unobtainable, so thought would give you guys a try.
It is not a hardware problem as reinstallation of the old version restores full functionality.
Any ideas?

try to install Copilot 4 without uninstalling the old version. This should preserve the iNS drivers that came with the old version but are not included in the new one. _________________ Lutz

Well, that solved the problem, Ipaq detects jacket just fine - and what an improvement too, now what can I remove in respect of the old version (folders and files etc) to save space?
And thanks -

not sure if the old folder had a different name - if you can afford the memory then it would be better not to delete the old app at all.
What you could do is move (instead of delete) files away one by one and then see when it breaks... _________________ Lutz
