Hello all,
I've checked my antenna loads of times and it's fine - so this finally bugged me too much and now it's gone.
If anyone wants my Wav file that just Says "signal too low" Email me.

You do know you can just turn that voice command off by going to the voice alerts icon in your menu. The place where you turn off speed limit warnings and route recalculation. You will probably have noticed (if you just removed the wav) that it makes a funny little noise whenever it wants to say signal too low, this is because it is looking for the wav file and can't find it.
Mine never says it much (only when first switch it on. Are you sure you've not got a prob with your antenna? _________________ Goodmans GNAV10

Yeah I know - I do want to know that the signal is too low - just the "check antenna" bit really bugs me.
I deliver cars all over the UK and I find some areas give bad reception. City Centres with high rise buildings, Snowdonia, Cairngorms.
Also I've noticed that a cold start on a foggy morning takes ages.
I don't think I have an antenna problem - 90% of the time it starts up really quick. _________________ Acer N35

Ah, I don't know about you but that litle noise bugs me. Why don't you just chop the check antenna of the end of the wav. Wavepad is easy to use. I've manipulated a few of my voice files with it. Basic version is free:

For a quick and easy fix, browse your PDA for the standard windows (or other apps) sounds, copy one you like and rename it the same as the signal too low one. I used to use the 4 descending notes thing which sounds like something disconnecting. Makes the point and when you look at the screen you see the cross on the kite. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720
