Garmin 3 plus wont show maps

Hi all, I hope I can fix this problem using the shared knowledge here. I have a Garmin GPS 3 plus. Its running SW 2.06. When I upload a map to it I get an error message saying that the GPS cannot unlock maps. The map transfer happens OK but I cannot view the maps. Anyone have any idea why? I updated the software from 2.05 to 2.06 and still the problem persists.

Do you have the write key for the maps ? I know Garmin ship a special key to unlock some maps, and I wonder if the key you have covers the maps you're trying to upload ?

What maps are you trying to install?
