When you say "does not work correct" how does this manifest itself?

The recordings are in a different position and not all of them replace the default sounds.

Does this help?

Excellent voice software. Well done guys.

The only problem I found was it could do with being louder and there was no Gatso 70 sound file for version (5430)

I don't think there is a Gatso 70 on any of the data.chk files.

Now I have it installed I never seem to pass a speed camera!

Can anyone help me with this problem?
I have just updated my tomtom 500 to v2.420 and all is ok, have installed all the speed Zoned cameras and used the POI extended warning application to add voice to them. On transferring the modified ttn and chk files across to my tomtom I received a warning message saying …The drive cannot find the sector requested…….

Any ideas to what im doing wrong?

Hi,

Read through about the 1st 20 pages or so and couldn't find the answer I was looking for! so sorry if this was posted already.

I'm running TT5 for ppc, it's Version5 (4890), I've downloaded the speed camera database, all fine and dandy and working well.

I downloaded the voice warnings for the speed cameras (4890_new.data.chk)

Changed the name to data.chk and I've tried placing it in the root of the SD card and in the TomTom folder, but I'm still getting the original beeps and bells etc.

any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Let me know if you need any more info,

thanks in advance

John

The data.chk file you need to replace is not on your sd card but your device in your Navigator folder in The Program files folder
