I apolgise in advance if there is already a thread on this but I have tried to check the threads in TT & garmin sections to no avail.

Basically I have TTN5 on my SPV M2000 which I normally use with my Emtac BTGPS. It works fine on this setup. However my husband has since bought himself a Garmin GPSmap 60cs & it seem pointless to carry 2 gps around (& HE WONT LEAVE HIS BEHIND) so I got myself the necessary connection cables (PCmobile ones) but no matter what I tried I cant seem to get any gps connection to the pda. Sad

I have set up the Garmin for NMEA In/NMEA Out & the baud rate automatically sets at 4800. The settings in TTN5 used is the OTHER CABLE NMEA GPS, tried it on all the different baud rates & the only slight hint of it trying to communicate is when the baud rate is set to the highest i.e. 115200 & I chose COM1 - the little circle on the top right hand corner moves as if its trying to connect. But that it.

Can anyone help? Is there anyway to find out if its the cable or just me??? I hope someone out there can help.

Many thanks in advance.

COM1 at 4800 would actually be correct. But are you sure your SPV actually has a serial port?
