TOMTOM 5 CRASHING !!

Just installed tomtom5 to my dell axim x50v.Works fine when it wants to, but for no reason at all and without notice it will decide to shut down and revert back to the desktop screen.Also then you go into poi and select something i.e:petrol stations e.c.t it does the same,software will shut down.Has anyone else on here had the same probs??

You need to upgrade the TT to version 5,1 the upgrade can be down loaded from the TomTom web site - It is known that version 5,0 will crash PDA units with a VGA screen (which the x50v has) so the upgrade is a fix to this along with other bugs - Mike

also check to see if there is any updates available for your Dell x50v
