hi guy's,
Sins donkey years I'm using a ppc for my navigation around Australia!
Using a toshiba e350 with my own developt nav software, later i started using
Destinator 3 australia and destinator Europe PN.
A month ago i decided to upgrate my hardware to a toshiba e800 bt with a rikaline 6030 bt, I'm using Destinator PN and Tomtom 5.
But there is no way that it will work!
As soon as i start destinator or tomtom i see that the ppc pairs with the gps, but somehow no data is sent to the sofware i'm using.
The funny thing is that i have a old version of tomtom 1.0 if i use that everything works great! I tried the program winfast to find the right com ports, but even that program does'nt get any signal.
I only know that the tomtom 1.0 has more choises for gps configuration.
(nmea 0183v2 bluetooth : bluetooth card)
Whilw those options are not avelable in destinator pn and tom tom5.

Is there any one arround who can help me or can share the problem.
I looked arround every where in news groups and asked for help at helpdesks!

config: toshiba E800 bt, rikaline 6030 bt, win ce 2003,latest rom versions and drivers.

Use SiRFDemo or the old TomTom GPS driver to switch the receiver into NMEA mode at 38400 baud

In tt5 gps settings use "other wired gps" set the baud speed, then select the correct bt port for your device from the list, I know its strange selecting wired when using bluetooth devices but it works - mike
