Sorry if this is a dopey question but TT3.0.7 now says I have no maps. Before I upgraded, my Great Britain map was fine. What have I done wrong?

Hi davehutch,
to the forum!
If TTNav 3.01 worked OK and 3.07 can’t find the maps, then I have to question the legitimacy of your copy of TomTom Navigator 3.
Are you using a pirated copy?

Not that I know of. This is all new as I inherited the pda and software from my friend who has bought himself all brand new kit and TT5
I'm still testing it at the mo' and waiting for a bluetooth adaptor to turn up for my Garmin eTrex.
It would be nice to get this working again |

I suggest that you have a word with your friend. The symptoms that you describe are unfortunately the same as those encountered by people using a pirate copy of TTNav 3.00 or 3.01.
Please let us know what your friend says. If it's not a pirated version then we will do our best to help.
Alternatively you could ask TomTom Support.

Whilst I agree with what Privateer has said, It's not unknown for the error you are getting to exist even with legal versions.
If you have a legal version you should also have the original TomTom installation CD which will also have the activation code.
With the CD you can delete the maps from the SD or CF card and re-install them. If after re-installing the maps you still get the same error then as Privateer has stated it's an illegal copy you have. _________________ Graham.
