Mapping Dropping

Hi please help me i have loaded the whole of the UK maps onto my iPAQ SD Card. All the registration went smoothish but the only problem i get is on my PPC. I have selected the maps i want loaded on my PPC in setup which is basically the whole of mainland UK. But everytime i restart Smart maps it drops the Southern part of the UK. Why is it doing this?

Have you tried installing service pack 2 for the PPC?

Amongs other things it gives improved reliability when using SD cards and improved memory use.
