New Socket BT GPS

Hi, I have just bought a new iPAQ 5450 and a Socket BT GPS unit. I have a couple of questions if I may:

1. The Socket BT receiver came from Expansys. Although it said no software I assumed I would at least get CRUX View. Should this have been included?

2. What Navigation SW do you recommend? I am interested in using it on foot whilst on holiday in Italy. Does TomTom Navigator 2 do every thing TomTom CityMaps does and more or is it less detailed and optimised for driving?

1. No, but you can download it from the Emtac site.



2. TomTom Navigator 2 does everything and much more compared with CityMaps. CityMaps is really only for local driving where you don't need to be re-routed, or have voice navigation, or venture outside the city limits. If you need anything above this then TomTom Navigator 2 really is a necessity.
