Has anyone tried to apply the car windscreen suction mount on a motorcycle?Ifixed mine on to the inside screen on a R1 and it seemed pretty secure. Rolling Eyes

Hmmm. Dunno if I'd be too comfortable with having a 330 quid electronic piece of equipment mounted to my bike via suction. Would you mount the Quest on the outside of your car using the suction pad???

Could also be quite painful if it came off..

I'm using the RAM cradle and a RAM handlebar mount. It's extremely secure, and perfectly positioned.. I don't have it powered at the moment, but will probably buy the QPAC cable over the coming months..

I'll send a pic if it would help...

Yeah, I used the suction mount on the CBR a couple of times before I got the RAM mount. I wouldn't recommend it though, there is an incredible amount of vibration, bumping and shaking on a bike and the Quest could easily work loose.

Definately don't risk it, get a RAM mount for 20 quid rather than smashing up your 330 quid Quest. RAM mounts are rock solid and work well. They lack power/sound but I do without the sound and my rides are less than the 18 hours or so that the battery lasts long enough.
