I've got one too. Works fine with my Ipaq 6340 using TT3 (GPS 3.07), GPS Gate, Memory map, POI Warner, GPS Tuner.

I just got one off eBay fro £57 inc shipping to the UK from the US. it works well with Nokia 6630 and TTM 5. i think the battery is a BL6C as the 5C is rather smaller.

Hi,
I've just got a BT77 to go with my SPV C500 and TT5 Mobile.
I've managed to pair the units up OK and originally I got a blue flashing light on the BT77 every second.
But I just couldn't get TT to see it and now having changed settings and, hopefully, put them back, I only get the blue light every 3 seconds and TT still can't see it.
Apart from a GPS status screen, I can't see anything else in TT to help me on this.
I've also accepted the default BT ports on the C500.
The battery is fully charged and I left it out of the unit for an hour, before going outside to start it up - only took a minute for the led to flash red.
I shall leave the battery out all night tonight and see if that does the trick, but if there are any settings that anyone knows I've missed, I'll be glad of the help.
cheers,
Graham

You may have to rename the bT77 on your phone. I had to on mine 6630 - I used TomTom GPS althouigh I have heard you can try TomTom GPS, TomTom Bluetooth GPS or TomTom Wireless GPS.

I've only got two options in the GPS setup and that's either TT Bluetooth or other Bluetooth device.
Can't see anything about ports anywhere.
Are we talking the same version of Tomtom - I've got Mobile 5.

PostPosted: Wed Jul 06, 2005 2:38 pm    Post subject: BT-77 GPS and XDA2 Reply with quote

Hi, Could someone please help me with my BT-77 GPS and TT5 installation on my XDA2 as it's driving me mad, I don't even know where to start, but please be patient and read on.
The TT5 is installed on the XDA2 and the maps on a 1GB SD card and it seems to be working fine (Well I haven't tried it on the road yet). I also bought a BT-77 GPS( which for reason when I try to install it's driver from the supplied CD, it only install itself on my desktop computer but not on the pocket PC, is this normal to begin with). When I go into Bluetooth manager in the PPC, I see the GPS and it's bonded( according to the message next to it). I see both blue lights flashing but when I go into the settings of the TT5, I choose OTHER BT GPS and when selected I get the screen with GPS is connected to: BT on COM6: Serial cable on COM1.
Now, in the bluetooth settings on the PPC I only have COM4 for inbound and COM5 for outbound.
So what's going wrong and do I need a BT GPS driver on the PPC and in that case why I can't install it from the CD through the desktop computer.
Many thanks for any feedback.
