Yes . i broke mine a while ago . and got an email from them saying they now do the screens and also the connection on the bottom. (apparently a weak spot on the mio) i think it is 140euros for screen and 49 for the connection

my mate has just busted his screen on his medion from aldi they say they will not supply the screens but will do the repair for him
£7.50 pp each way £31 for screen i think he was quoted about £35 for labour +vat not good but still cheaper than buying a new one .apparently
the medions are the same as the mio 168 if only we could get hold of screens id buy a spare just in case as im hearing loads of horror stories regarding cracked screens |

thats all good and well but i still havent heard any evidence of anybody managing to get a mitac mio screen repared or replaced as yet and would like to hear from anyone who has. lets face it how sick would you be if your car broke down and you couldnt get any spares |

you can take it back to your retailer where they can send it back to mitac for inspection and get a quote for the repair. The screen might end up costing more than a new unit. _________________ Regards
