Garmin drives off the road!

Hi,
I've had a quest two weeks and found it to very accurate. However, Having just loaded V.7 I did a trip from Kent to Clacton. While in Kent all was ok, but when I had come out of the Dartford tunnel the black pointer started going off road! (into the cream bits) and the unit kept saying "off route - Re-calculating" At some point of the journey on a straight section of road the arrow travelled parrallel to the left of the road by some considerable margin! I realise that some of you will use Essex jokes as an answer. But I would really like to solve this problem. Also... when I set it to return home It told me to travel North West for "Four thousand" odd miles. Presumably to Garmin HQ in the US. Where's the reset button?

Have you got all of the map segments loaded? If not, the Quest will revert to its built in base map which is far less accurate. I've seen this happen when I've been abroad, and gone outside the city that I had loaded detailed mapping for.
