The ability to plan a trip from within the desktop program (not from within the wizard as that does not allow the advanced options) and then save it to the Pocket PC, so that when Co-Pilot is started the option to "start driving" is displayed and it knows where the destination and waypoints are from the upload. |

The ability to set roads to avoid in 'planning' mode. Currently, can only be done in 'guidance' mode and then seldom seems to work properly. _________________ Compaq iPaq 3850; TTN5; 256k Sandisk CF; Transplant jacket; Arkon powered PDA speaker mount; External GPS antennae with MCX connector

What would really make co-pilot stand out from the crowd would be the addition of traffic cameras to the database. Most people think by seeking out cameras motorists are trying to avoid speeding, well, let's be honest, that is part of it, but the other part is that cameras "should" indicate accident blackspots & therefore act as a warning to the motorist to be extra alert.
Cheers

The ability to change the speed on different types of roads would be good.
And the ability to avoid an intersection (like the M25/M1 junction), and for it to be permanent unless otherwise told so.
Changing the green route indicator to an indicator more like TomToms would be a bonus, as at a complex junction it can be hard to determine which lane/turn to take.
Removing the incorrect 'stay on' guidance when it should really say 'turn left' or 'turn right' i.e when a B road changes name half way, and the same named road occurs at a fork/junction. |
