Ok, so I want to down load the map of western europe, how do I get it to fit? |

What device are you going to use it with? - if your unit has an SD card slot it can accept an SD card of up to 4GB in capacity, just be careful not to get an SDHC type unless you are using an x20 device which can use this card type with the latest software loaded on it - Mike |

Thanks Mike, it's a tomtom one GB. So just load the map onto the new card, sounds too simple to be true. Is there any other software that needs to be put on the new card? |

You will need to copy everything from the original card to the new one excluding the old map, the One devices have the software and voices etc on the SD card, there is a dedicated FAQ for this if you have a look at the stick threads further up this forum index you wil find the FAQ index page - Mike |

is it possible to get 2.5 gig cards? if its a 2 gig card, you might be able to make the map fit by deleting all the voice files, otherwise get a 4 gig card |
