Alix gives one solution - but if you're going to install another version of TomTom GPS, make sure you remove your current version of TomTom GPS completely first.
You may find that a single remove of TomTom GPS is enough, which will unhook any changes it's made to your Bluetooth stack (which is what's causing the problem).
To remove TomTom GPS, turn off Bluetooth and soft reset.
Go to Start Menu, Settings, System tab, Remove Programs. Tap on TomTom ~ GPS, tap Remove. You will probably be asked to press OK for a mandatory soft reset.
At this point, Fugawi will probably work.
If you want to remove TomTom GPS completely to install a different version, repeat the removal instructions until TomTom ~ GPS has disappeared from your Remove Programs list.
Some people report that the latest version of TomTom GPS, 3.07 (which is available from the TomTom web site), is less troublesome than older versions when it comes to allowing other applications to use your Bluetooth GPS. That's one version you could try if you decide to try another version; the other is 2.07 as Alix mentioned. As I said, whatever you do, make sure one version is completely removed before trying another.
If different versions of TomTom GPS and/or a single remove of your existing version of TomTom GPS doesn't solve the problem (one or the other usually solves the problem on an iPAQ, but may not on an Axim) post again.
